Manchester is the setting for Chanel’s upcoming Metiers d’art show. The show in the UK’s second largest city is scheduled for December 7th and follows this year’s collection presentations in Tokyo and Dakar.

It is more than just a fashion show, because it is about the source of creation – the talented tailors and artisans who pour their talent into every detail. But the collections also celebrate coming together with the chosen city, its unique locations, its dynamic residents and the influential cultural icons that breathe life into it.
The exact venue has not yet been announced, but in line with Chanel’s illustrious past in choosing notable locations – from a palace in Salzburg to the architectural marvel of the Herzog & de Meuron-designed Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg – the location chosen is sure to be impressive and memorable.
Each year since 2002, Chanel has presented a collection that celebrates the know-how of craftsmanship and its essential role in today’s fashion industry.
