Berlin – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has come under enormous fire at home for refusing, or hesitating, to supply heavy weapons to Ukraine. In addition, the Germans look almost jealously at the ‘little Netherlands’ and the ‘little Belgium. ‘Why can they supply heavy weapons such as armored cars and not great Germany?’ wonders the respected magazine Focus in a comment, accusing the chancellor of making a ‘fatal mistake’.
