Just like Thursday morning, motorists must also take into account possible crowds on Friday morning, because snow has fallen or will fall.
“Are you going on the road? Prepare well and adapt your driving style to the circumstances,” advises Rijkswaterstaat.

Code yellow
The KNMI has issued code yellow until Friday afternoon for slippery conditions due to winter precipitation. That warning does not apply to Limburg, but it does to other provinces such as Noord-Brabant and Gelderland.
morning rush hour
On Thursday, the ANWB and Rijkswaterstaat spoke of a strong morning rush hour. Because the traffic was affected by snow and rain, the road was busy and accidents happened. At 8:00 a.m., the ANWB reported a total of 628 kilometers of traffic jams on the A and N roads. That was 293 and 264 kilometers the previous two Thursday mornings.
