Locally, 20 to 50 millimeters of rain can fall, according to the weather institute. Thunderstorms extend overnight across the entire southwestern half of the country. On Friday morning the thunderstorms will move over the north and it will become temporarily dry in the south.
The warning code had already been in force in Limburg, North Brabant and Gelderland since Thursday afternoon. A few thunderstorms are possible again in the south on Friday afternoon. Then gusts of wind up to 60 kilometers per hour are possible and code yellow will be in force again. The thunderstorms will disappear Friday evening.
