Champions League: A humiliating defeat for Juventus

The fourth round of matches is played in the Champions League.

Juventus is riding the wind. PDO

Juventus’ road in the Champions League seems to be ending in the group stage. The head coach who was already under the magnifying glass Max Allegri is in an even more difficult position after Juventus suffered a 0–2 loss as a guest of Maccabi Haifa.

Israel’s national team player was responsible for both of the home team’s goals Omer Atzili.

For Juventus, the loss is the third in a row in the Champions League. Juventus and Maccabi Haifa, who have beaten each other once, have a tough job to climb to the first two places in Group H, as PSG and Benfica, who will strike in the late match, are on seven points.

In Serie A, Juventus is only eighth.

Haaland on the bench, City on the bench

Julián Álvarez, who replaced Erling Haaland in City’s starting line-up, couldn’t get a proper solution while harassing Nicolai Boilesen. PDO

Without his power forward Erling Haaland played Manchester City was held to a goalless draw when visiting FC Copenhagen at Parken.

There were plenty of events during the first half.

After a brisk ten minutes of play, the guests Rodri scored one of the early autumn goals. However, the top corner shot was abandoned after a while because the VAR booth noticed that the loose ball had hit Riyad Mahrez’s hand in the previous situation.

The British legend commented on the situation on Twitter Gary Lineker, who made it clear that it is very difficult to get to the cart from the current hand foul line. Many followers of the sport can certainly identify with Lineker’s view.

There was more excitement soon, when the cross ball hit the home team in the penalty area by Nicolai Boilesen on. It was harshly punished, but the Polish keeper Kamil Grabera stretched handsomely into the path of Mahrez’s shot.

At less than half an hour, City’s evening became a little more difficult when Sergio Gómez caught the one running away behind the line Hákon Haraldsson hand claw. The Icelander’s light build caused him to roll onto the grass, but the Barcelona breeder’s fault was clear, even though it was cleared by the referee Artur Soares for Dias only after a hint from the VAR brothers.

The second half gave Copenhagen fans something to sing about, but relatively little action on the pitch.

City leads Group G with ten points. Copenhagen is third in the group with two points.

Story corrected at 10:48 p.m.: In Rodri’s disallowed goal, the ball hit Riyad Mahrez’s hand, not Alvarez’s, as was originally stated in the story.
