The Greek team, which defeated its closest follower PAOK 2-1 away, declared the championship in Super League 1 4 weeks before the end of the season.
Although PAOK took the lead with Thomas Murg in the 10th minute and closed the first half ahead 1-0, Olympiakos caught a draw with Rony Lopes in the 51st minute. Olympiakos took the lead 2-1 with Oleg Reabciuk in the 62nd minute and managed to finish the match with this score.
With this result, Olympiakos reached the 47th league championship.
