Challenging limits is challenging our beliefs

So what is the biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge is understanding that everything we automatically feel is negative, bad, or just won’t be able to do can turn out to be a self-boycott. And this is given by the things that we lived, that we learned, that they told us, and that made us believe that this is always the case. The key is to identify those beliefs to understand when it is real and when it is unfounded.

I observe on a daily basis that many of us create these mental models because we must “bring down to reality” certain ideas or “put cold cloths” on certain situations when, in reality, they are only acting as unconscious saboteurs of our dreams or goals.

Today I want to share 4 simple steps so you can grow without limits:

1. Know what beliefs are about because if you don’t know the subject you will probably never realize it

2. Identify beliefs in our verbal communication. Pay attention when you start a sentence with the phrase “I can’t because…”

3. Deepen point 2 towards our internal dialogue, pay attention to what we are saying to ourselves

4. Having identified it, promote the change of that defensive and generalist position of basing ourselves on unfounded beliefs from the language to change for words that open possibilities, that give courage to face with another spirit the situations that life puts before us.

We must put aside preconceptions, assumptions and conjectures to give rise to assertive communication. Thus, when we express ourselves we are going to give an enabling message for us and for our system.

Finally, highlighting that you break down limiting beliefs will also give us a more open, empathic and receptive listening when others want to tell us something. Leaving aside that speech that seems to be totally right, for a more humble speech, inviting to rethink without wanting to be right, but rather to open up to learn new possibilities.
