Exclusive: The European Fashion Alliance (EFA) together with the Cabildo de Gran Canaria organized the first Gran Canaria Summit in October 2022. Various leading moderators came together to define first actions leading to a common vision and mission in creating a better and more sustainable contribute to the future of the fashion industry.
During the Summit, EFA organized a series of videos featuring various panel discussions and interviews focusing on the themes of sustainability, positive change and emerging talent shaping the future of the fashion industry. In this video, Pepa Bueno (Asociación creadores de moda de Espana), Araceli Diaz (Moda Calida), Joana Jorge (Modalisboa) and Sylvia Calvo (Moda-FAD) discuss the importance of the Iberian Peninsula for the European fashion market – similarities, differences and Challenges. Together, the fashion market represents an alternative to tourism and allows authentic, colorful and modern designers to be presented and discovered.
