At the Schönhauser Allee S-Bahn station, a chair was thrown in front of an arriving S-Bahn on Wednesday night. The federal police are now looking for witnesses.

The chair wedged itself in the pantograph and the fuse blew, as the federal police said. There were about 50 passengers on the S41 line who could be rescued unharmed.

The train had to be suspended for repairs, and there were delays in train operations.

The federal police are investigating dangerous interventions in rail traffic and are looking for witnesses. According to the information, the crime happened between 12:55 a.m. and 1:07 a.m.
