Two people were injured in a chain collision on the John F. Kennedylaan in Eindhoven on Wednesday afternoon. They have been taken to hospital. A total of nine vehicles were involved in the accident, including a truck carrying hazardous materials.
The two injured were in one car. Five ambulances arrived at the scene of the accident.
The chain collision happened in a traffic jam, which had arisen after a serious accident earlier in the afternoon. A man in a camper left the John F. Kennedylaan and drove hard into two trees in the median. He was trapped in the severely damaged camper.
Huge blow
The blow was huge: the entire side of the vehicle is broken, the roof is on the road surface. The victim was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
