After the federal prosecutor Diego Luciani requested twelve years in prison for Cristina Kirchner and the disqualification to hold public office due to the Road Cause, the networks were lit up with supporters and detractors of the vice president while the City Police intervened in the street crossing in front of the apartment that CFK lives in.
The balance was of a wounded officer and a prisoner, the legislator of the Province for the Front of All, Adrian Grana. But the endless war between “the K” and the “Anti K” had its counterpart on Twitter. From official and opposition journalists, to the main referents of the political forces, took advantage of the space to speak out on the subject: #Jefa #CFK2023, #TodosConElla, #CorrupciónOJusticia, or #CFKLlegóTuHora, are some of the hashtags that were trending topic.
The protagonist of the case, Cristina Kirchner, harshly questioned the Head of Government of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodriguez Larreta, for the repression carried out by the City Police. Larreta asked the Kirchnerist leader not to “generate more violence”:
The only thing that Rodríguez Larreta lacked to be Macri: the city police used sticks, pepper spray and tear gas to repress citizens who approached Juncal and Uruguay as a show of support against the insults of a group of madmen macrists

Madam VICE-PRESIDENT: DON’T BREED MORE VIOLENCE. CONTRIBUTE TO MAINTAIN SOCIAL PEACE. pic.twitter.com/uRbG16YL0l

For their part, referents of the Left Front, such as the deputy Myriam Bregmann or the deputy Nicholas del Canodeclared not only that they consider the process against Cristina Kirchner as a “persecution”, but also that the figure of “illicit association”, one of the charges that are imputed to the vice president, is unconstitutional and only serves as a tool to persecute politicians. .
We reject the political persecution that includes an undemocratic request for disqualification from @CFKArgentina.
In order not to be used as a means of persecution or proscription, as we saw in Brazil, accusations of corruption in public works must be judged by popular juries.— Myriam Bregman (@myriambregman) August 22, 2022
We have always maintained that the figure of illicit association is illegitimate and unconstitutional, destined for political persecution. We continue to support it and demand its repeal.
— Myriam Bregman (@myriambregman) August 23, 2022
From the block of deputies of the @PTSarg – FIT express our rejection of the disqualification request for @CFKArgentina and that they have not allowed him to expand the investigation, an elementary right of defense. Trials by jury before accusations of corruption.

On the government side There was no lack of voices that supported Cristina. From the President of the Nation, Albert Fernandez, to the Minister of Economy Serge Massa, the deputy Ophelia Fernandez, The chancellor santiago cafiero or the secretary general of the presidency, Julius Vitobello.
Today is a very unpleasant day for someone who, like me, has been raised in the family of a judge, has been educated in the world of law and teaches Criminal Law for more than three decades. I once again convey my deepest affection and solidarity to the Vice President @CFKArgentina. pic.twitter.com/cOMH2iKjnK
– Alberto Fernández (@alferdez) August 22, 2022
It is absurd to state that the Head of the Administration is responsible for each one of his dependents. Changes Criminal Law and the framework of the principle of responsibility.
We are facing a dangerous precedent for politics, businessmen and those who have dependents. pic.twitter.com/KbPQzaGJ62– Sergio Massa (@SergioMassa) August 22, 2022
Look at the prosecutors disguising as justice their desire to erase leaders they don’t like from history is not going well for them in Latin America… no one is going to allow this to be an exception. #AllWithCristina
– Ofelia Fernández (@OfeFernandez_) August 22, 2022
There is no decree, administrative decision or other provision signed by @CFKArgentina awarding the execution of public works to Mr. Lázaro Báez. Without evidence, it is just political persecution, a very serious precedent for democracy.
– Julio Vitobello (@JulioVitobello) August 22, 2022
They want to outlaw @CFKArgentina. The extreme right in Latin America is anti-democratic. They did it with Perón and recently with popular leaders of the region such as @evoespueblo Y @lulaoficial. But our peoples are fair: they do not abandon those who risk it for them.

As for the PRO, Rodriguez Larreta nor was the only voice to confront the vice president or to support the decision of prosecutor Diego Luciani. deputies Sabrina Ajmechet, Cristian Ritondo and Waldo Wolff They gave their opinion about what happened. The voice of the president of the PRO was not lacking, Patricia Bullrich.
It seems that that law professor knew a little more about the independence of powers… https://t.co/dZSEOCmGZ7 pic.twitter.com/qBYKH9BZlb

Those who speak of media and judicial persecution what they had until now was a prosecutor for days showing evidence. What is justice for them if this is judicial persecution?
— Sabrina Ajmechet (@ajmechet) August 23, 2022
We hold the Executive Branch responsible for disturbing social peace. The statement issued by the Executive Power questioning due process and our rule of law not only violates the law but is a provocation to the peace that the vast majority of Argentines want. pic.twitter.com/I1NkUcmd6k

There is no fist bump, threat and insult from the vice president that distorts the value that independent justice has for Argentines. pic.twitter.com/tlijsnlT4B

And in the journalistic field, of course, there were voices for and against the vice president. Journalist Diego Cabot, author of the investigation behind the “Cause Notebooks”, which constitutes another of the complaints against the vice president, expressed his point of view on Twitter. And so did the journalist Mercedes Funes, and the journalist and writer Federico Andazahi:
The most important allegation that has ever been heard about corruption in Argentina has ended.

It is beautiful that to defend her they speak of lack of evidence and not of innocence.
– Mercedes Funes ? (@MercedesFunes) August 23, 2022
Those who maintain that the prosecutor’s devastating statement contains no evidence, say, like Mr. Kollman, that Cristina “does not appear signing any resolution, decree or email that favors Lázaro Báez.” As if Videla had left his signature to order the disappearances.

From official journalism, Diego BrancatelliY Julia Mengolini they were firm in supporting the frontist leader, Cristina Kirchner.
Peronism defends Peronism in the streets.
Not on Twitter or with communications.
Wake up and go out and fight for your rights.
They come for everything.– Diego Brancatelli (@diegobranca) August 23, 2022
The cause for which they want to condemn and ban CFK is a scandal long before the photos showing the prosecutor playing ball with the judge in Macri’s fifth became known. (In any country with serious media these chantas did not last a second longer)
