A singing circle of women on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Rosa Elizabeth got them together in the Badhuis in Haarlem, where she held a meeting that resembled a ceremony.
Rosa wants her sessions to ‘express what lives in women, in the softness and warmth of feminine energy.’ Those who signed up did not have to be able to sing. Rosa: “That is subordinate to the willingness to look for your feelings.”
About 25 women took part in the ceremony and most of them succeeded in the search for themselves. “I feel warm,” one of them said afterwards, “warm and round.” Another woman said she was happier to have left the circle than she had entered. “I’ve never done this before but felt I couldn’t pass it up on Women’s Day. And it worked. I feel very comfortable, very calm.”
