The centuries-old establishment in the hamlet of the same name behind the former Zuiderzeedijk between Vollenhove and Blokzijl, has been put up for sale by real estate agency Bonthuis & Vaartjes at the request of the heiress, Jantine Belt, the pub owner’s sister-in-law. One of the special conditions was that the café with the farm of Reinier’s brother Jannes, who died in 2018, remains in its original state.
