The Gedempte Gracht in the center of Zaandam was closed for some time on Monday morning due to a fire at a hair salon. Several fire trucks and police cars came to the report. In the end it turned out to be a burning phone.
It all happened around 11:45 am. The hair salon, which is above a shoe store, was full of smoke. According to the fire department, a telephone suddenly caught fire. The phone was not connected to a charger.
The fire brigade did not extinguish, that was not necessary. The case has been ventilated because of the smoke.
