Stating that he came to the National Team with a different excitement, Cengiz Ünder said, “It is a different feeling to be in the national team. I come here with different excitements. Mentioning that they have good relations with Armenia National Team player Mkhitaryan, Ünder said, “We played with Mkhitaryan in Rome. He was a good friend of mine. We were talking all the time. It doesn’t matter to us whether he is here or not. We want to go out on the field and win. I don’t think about anything else. “We are football players. We came to do our job. We want to play our Saturday game and return to our country in a good way,” he said.

Expressing that the tournament is important, the 25-year-old player said, “We are constantly talking about this with my teammates. We know how important this tournament is for us after the last European Championship. The priority is to start qualifying in the best way. We want to participate in this tournament. We talk about it with our teacher all the time,” he said.

Saying that he scored more goals with the National Team uniform, Cengiz Ünder said, “When I started this system in Marseille, it was really difficult for me. Our teacher wanted me to play defense a lot. Over time, I developed this aspect. Now I play in all matches. I feel more comfortable playing in this system. “I feel good. My role in the national team is different. I score more goals here. I will do it again on Saturday,” he said.
