Scottish representative Celtic Club banned its fans who are members of the “Green Brigade” group, which supports Palestine, from coming to its home matches.
According to the news in the British press, it was stated that the club banned combined ticket holders from attending home matches in an e-mail sent to the members of the fan group.
The news emphasized that the decision came after fans unfurled Palestinian flags in the stands during the UEFA Champions League match against Atletico Madrid.
It was stated that the club had been fined twice before due to the demonstrations of the “Green Brigade” members and was afraid of UEFA imposing further disciplinary penalties.
