Million fee after loan
USA international Cameron Carter-Vickers will remain at Celtic Glasgow after his loan. As the Scottish champions announced on Friday evening, an agreement was reached with regular club Tottenham Hotspur for a permanent transfer. According to media reports, the 24-year-old, whose contract was originally valid until 2023, will have to pay a fee of 6 million pounds (a good 7 million euros).
Carter-Vickers, who missed just one league game last season, signed a four-year contract with Celtic. “I’m so glad I made my move to Celtic and couldn’t be happier. I’ve loved every minute of my time at Celtic and I really wanted to be a part of the future of the club,” said Carter-Vickers, who comes from the Spurs youth squad but only made five senior appearances.
