Carlos Mourinopresident of Celta de Vigo, assured this Monday that they are “trying & rdquor; negotiate with striker Santi Mina, sentenced in first instance to four years in prison for a crime of sexual abuse committed in Mojácar (Almeria) in 2017the termination of his contract, which expires on June 30, 2024.

In May 2022, after hearing the sentence of the Provincial Court of Almería, Celta removed Santi Mina from the team. However, two months later the player requested his reinstatement to training, alleging that the sentence was not final.
