Twitter on Thursday began removing the original blue checkmarks that organizations and individuals used to prove their authenticity. Some of the most famous people in the world have also lost the blue tick. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo, Beyoncé and Pope Francis, among others, no longer have a blue check mark next to their name on the message service.
