The remains found in the Tragadero River, in the Emerenciano neighborhood, are human. The information has just been confirmed by the prosecutor’s office that is carrying out the investigation for the crime of Cecilia Strzyzowski. The next step will be to carry out a genetic analysis of the material to confirm or rule out that it is the young woman who disappeared in Chaco on June 6.

In this investigation, the Chaco Fisalía requested the collaboration of the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IMF) of the Judiciary of Córdoba. “In this type of crime, solidarity between the different experts is important so that we can respond in the most serious and scientific way possible. Beyond the judicial process and everything that can generate politically, there is a humanitarian side that must be rescued. They traveled with the objective of collaborating in the new analyzes and also took monkey skeletons to confirm the information of the first finding. Although it sounds strange for those who are not familiar with this area, dib he explained that “this is the usual work that forensic anthropologists do.”
