The Flemish government is in crisis after no agreement could be reached on the budget. According to N-VA and Open Vld CD&V chairman, the culprit for that failure is Sammy Mahdi. The call for a government without CD&V, but with Vooruit, is getting louder and louder. “What good is it to people if we get out”, states Mahdi in the VTM NIEUWS studio. For the CD&V chairman, the indexation of child benefits remains a red line.
