CD&V chairman Joachim Coens will not run for president again. He announced this in response to the results of a new poll commissioned by VRT and De Standaard. According to that poll, CD&V is the smallest party in Flanders. With 8.7 percent, the party is even slightly smaller than PVDA. Coens will also bring the presidential elections forward.
