The trading association ANWR Group eG announced a change in the management team of its subsidiary ANWR Schuh GmbH on Friday.
Accordingly, Tobias Eichmeier will resign from his position as managing director of ANWR Schuh at the end of the year. The 47-year-old wanted to “concentrate fully on his role as Chief Commercial Officer on the board of ANWR Group eG from January 1, 2024,” it said. Yvonne Breinlinger-Scheuring and Helmut Wies, the remaining members of the management team, will lead the shoe retail group as a “team of two” in the future.
Eichmeier was appointed managing director of ANWR Schuh GmbH at the beginning of May 2020. In November 2022, he also took on the role of CCO on the board of the umbrella company. According to the company, in this role he is responsible “for the group’s market companies in the shoe, sports and leather goods trade nationally and internationally, as well as, among other things, for logistics and the order and trade fair infrastructure on the campus in Mainhausen”.
