The Dutch population grew by 191,000 in the first nine months of this year. That is more than twice as many as in the same period last year. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the increase is mainly due to immigration. Fewer babies were born than in the same period in 2021, and mortality was relatively high.
