The police will continue with traces on Tuesday afternoon in the house on Woldstraat in Meppel where a deceased person was found on Monday. That says a spokesman for the police.
According to the police spokesperson, the investigation is aimed at ruling out the possibility that a crime has been committed. Local residents are also still in the dark about what happened, they say. The body was found around 6:30 p.m. Monday. The police carried out extensive traces in and around the house into the cause of death.
Police tape
Part of the area was temporarily cordoned off. There is still a police tape in front of the house, opposite the cafeteria, and there is security. Police have not yet said when the cause of death will be determined. The spokesperson does not want to say who the deceased person is.
