In early June 2023, the actress and YouTuber Kayla Shyx published a video on her channel in which she reported on the band Rammstein and their alleged “Row Zero”. After the 21-year-old withdrew from social media after umpteen hostilities online, she now gave an update via Instagram on how her life has developed since the abuse issue surrounding singer Till Lindemann.
Kayla Shyx: “But it was good for me to take a little distance”
In her video about the Rammstein case – which has meanwhile been viewed around 5.7 million times – Kayla Shyx described that at after-show celebrations after Rammstein concerts, young women were allegedly recruited to have sex with Lindemann. The feedback was tremendous, Shyx had to go offline for a while.
Now she tells in her Instagram story: “I’ve been running around for the last few weeks, doing things and I’m slowly taking you more with me, miss you! But it was good for me to take a little distance.” Shyx, whose real name is Kaya Loska, also indicated that she was uncomfortable with the new attention: “[…] I’m used to being recognized here and there, but right now it’s a bit blatant and kind of makes me nervous.”
She also shared some of the hate comments she’s received since the release of her video because she doesn’t want to put up with it anymore.
The investigations into the Causa Till Lindemann continue. A forensic expert was recently called in to assess the injury to alleged victim Shelby Lynn. Despite numerous protests, Rammstein are still on tour. On the 16th, 17th The band will play in the Berlin Olympic Stadium on July 18th and 18th.
