A cat visits the lions Mateo, Hanna and Elsa at the zoo. But not just any one, but four performers from the musical “Cats”, which will be making guest appearances in the Admiralspalast until Sunday.
The four in costume are not afraid of the predators, they say with a laugh. These only come closer when a zoo keeper throws them chunks of meat. And then also see what is happening in front of the enclosure’s pane, where the actors are posing and hissing.
“A lot of people think they know cats. But to imitate their movements you have to study them closely and the musical’s choreographer was of course a great help as well,” says Russell Dikson, 25, from Belfast. He had cats as a child.
