Catherine Keyl is bashed by readers of RTL Boulevard after her revelation that she too was a victim of the toxic culture at NOS Sport. “We have her again!”, it sounds.
The transgressive behavior at NOS Sport keeps the mind busy. The stories are so serious that the entire four-headed editors have resigned. And now Catherine Keyl also comes up with her experience. She writes about it today in her column in Woman. “I felt like a troublesome insect.”
Tricky insect
Why a tricky insect? In 2003 she always had to walk over the NOS Sport editors on Saturdays for the recordings of her then TV show Keyl. “’What are you doing here?’, I was yelled at. ‘I have to go to my studio and I can only reach it through this editorial office,’ I said. ‘Take a different road next time’, was snapped, but that was not possible.”
And then? “The following week I was there again and said: ‘Good evening’. As if by appointment, all the editors turned their heads and said nothing. This came up when I read the story of Aïcha Marghadi. Never thought about it again, but boom, there it was all of a sudden.”
Catherine bashed
Catherine is quite distrusted by the readers of RTL Boulevard, who are on the Facebook page of the show section go wild on the presenter. “Oh dear, she’s been through it too,” says Melia, who also adds a puke smiley. And Mary: “Want to sit at a table again.”
Antoinette doesn’t think the story is serious at all. “She had never thought about it again and suddenly the ‘trauma’ was brought up again… Oh gosh. Of course, something like that is not really fun, but come on, it is not such a drama.”
And Sylvie: “Do you have her again ?.”
Fill bags
Gerrit thinks that Catherine just wants attention. “Oh no, it hasn’t been in the news for years. Great opportunity to fill the pockets again in the talk shows.”
Justin: “Is this really newsworthy? Things are not always friendly in the business world.”
And Mireille is annoyed by these kinds of celebrities. “Everyone has experienced something at work, right? But then they are not well-known Dutch people.”
