Catania, fans are looking for investors: companies and funds contacted by e-mail

In Catania they try to save what can be saved. After the unsuccessful attempts to auction the sports business branch of the historic club founded in 1946, which failed last December, and the consequent exclusion from the Serie C championship with revocation of affiliation by the FIGC, moving the fans now to avert the worst. A desperate attempt to look for new investors who can revive the club that will start again from the ashes of amateur football. The members of the group Magico Catania Group 46 announced on social media, the start of an initiative. In practice, an almost desperate help was requested from numerous Italian investors, owners of prestigious companies, and foreign funds who were contacted by e-mail. The intent is that, as they explain in a note, to invite them to take Catania.

The initiative is to contact groups of investors via email and certified e-mail, with a formal letter explaining why to invest in Catania and Catania, inviting them to participate in the call. Twenty-five groups of investors or funds were contacted, two of them replied thanking us for having thought of them, one of these is Red Bull Italia but declined the invitation. For many it will seem silly, but the love for our colors and the pain felt for the disappearance of Calcio Catania, also leads to groped the impossible.
