The regions of Lleida, on alert

Among the recommendations that Civil Protection makes to citizens is hydrate very often, drinking plenty of water and avoiding drinking alcohol and eating large meals.
As well as avoid going outside in the hours of maximum sunshine and, therefore, tasks such as shopping should be done preferably in the early hours of the morning or in the afternoon when the sun is already going down.
When will the heat wave end?
For an episode of high temperatures to be formally considered a heat wave, a minimum of three consecutive days in which at least 10% of meteorological stations record maximum values greater than 95% of the series between 1971 and 2000.
