The Barcelona Provincial Council, for its part, has announced the restriction of access to the parks of the Garraf, Olèrdola and Foix.
The Departament d’Acció Climàtica has issued a danger report warning of a situation of low relative humidity, without extreme temperatures and with moderate wind that can last until noon on Wednesday, the Government reported in a statement.
The Alpha Plan is the operating procedure established by the Corps of Rural Agents to define the actions of the fire surveillance and prevention troops in the face of dangerous forest fire situations that may occur and mobilize more or less troops.
Given the situation, the Government once again calls for “extreme precautions” in the face of this new episode of high danger of forest fire for tomorrow and which they expect to subside from Wednesday the 26th.
High danger on the coast
Likewise, an alert for this Tuesday of a situation of the west along the entire coastline and pre-coastal of the southern half of the country, tending to mistral towards the coast of Baix Camp and Baix Ebre and tramontana in the Alt Empordà. Thus, a very high increase in fire danger is expected, especially near the coast, where the drought is very intense.
Despite the situation of concern, rainfall is expected, mainly in the Empordà, which could reduce the danger, the Generalitat has added.

Beyond access restrictions to certain areas, authorizations for any activity that may pose a risk of fire have also been suspended in the counties and municipalities in which level 3 of the Alpha Plan has been activated. In total, 1,423 activities have been suspended, including activities related to actions with the use of radials and torches, beekeeping or forestry activities.
In addition to the measures of the Corps of Rural Agents, Civil Protection has also activated since this Monday afternoon the special emergency plan for forest fires in Catalonia (INFOCAT) due to the high risk of forest fire foreseen this Tuesday, July 25.
