Barcelona – The outcry and anger in Catalonia is widespread after independent investigations revealed that at least 65 Catalan politicians and activists were hacked by Pegasus and Candiru spy software. That happened in the politically charged years between 2017 and 2020, according to research by Citizen Lab, a research institute at the University of Toronto.
