A cat that went missing five years ago in the Scottish port city of Peterhead was found on an oil rig off the Scottish coast on Friday. Because cat Dexter was chipped, the pet could be reunited with its owner.

An inspection of the chip showed that the beast had been hanging around the Peterhead prison for years. There, Dexter had been renamed “One-eyed Joe” and was taken in by the security personnel. The guards reportedly loved him and coddled him.
