FOOTBALL – Casper Goedkoop will also be Dick Lukkien’s assistant at FC Emmen next season. The trainer from Vries will start his seventh year in the service of the Drenthe professional club after the summer.
“I still like it very much and I’m really looking forward to hopefully working in the Eredivisie again,” said Goedkoop. “The cooperation in the staff is pleasant and I can lose my egg every day more than enough.”
Goedkoop was active for many years as a head coach in amateur football, where he held sway at Actief, Omlandia, FC Klazienaveen, vv Hoogeveen and Alcides. He was also a trainer of Jong FC Groningen.
In addition to Casper Goedkoop’s contract extension, FC Emmen also announced that Nico Haak will make the switch from the Under 19 to the Under 21 next season. That team is currently being trained by Ruud Jalving, who will be head coach at ACV in Assen next season. Haak was already working for the youth academy of FC Emmen and the then combination RJO Heerenveen/Emmen between 2006 and 2011. He will also combine the trainership at Emmen, just like this season, with the head trainer at VV Hoogeveen.
