Two men tried to rob the Flash Casino on Paardenstraat in Hilvarenbeek on Saturday night.
An employee of the casino wanted to close the casino around a quarter past two. At that point, the robbers tried to overpower him and break into the casino.
To run away
The two suspects, both in dark clothes, approached the employee, but he managed to keep them away by waving his bag. The two men ran away via a nearby path, towards Kapittelstraat.
The police arrived quickly but did not find the suspects in the area. A woman who lives above the casino got nothing from all the commotion.
Oudenbosch
Three weeks ago there was also a robbery at a casino, then at the Players Casino in Oudenbosch. Those robbers came in around closing time, threatened with a knife and a firearm and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
