Is the breakthrough coming in the case of the missing Berlin student Rebecca Reusch (was 15 when she disappeared)? As RTL reports, there was another search of the suspected brother-in-law Florian R.
This was confirmed by the spokesman for the Berlin public prosecutor, Sebastian Büchner RTL request. A search had taken place at “the accused, against whom the investigation is still ongoing,” it said.
It might have been about evidence. However, the public prosecutor in Berlin did not reveal any further details so as not to endanger the work of the police.
RTL also reports that acoustic measurements are said to have taken place in the house in Berlin-Neukölln. It should be tested which noises penetrate from the inside to the outside. A bathrobe is said to have been found with the belt missing.
The connection between this belt and the disappearance of the student is still completely open.
Rebecca Reusch disappeared without a trace in February 2019. The then 15-year-old stayed at the house of her sister Jessica and her husband Florian R. – since the morning there has been no sign of life from her. Despite numerous searches in Brandenburg, a body has not yet been found.
The police believe that the teenager did not leave the house alive. To this day, her brother-in-law Florian is the only suspect. However, Rebecca’s family firmly believes in the man’s innocence.
