CO2 emissions from passenger cars with a combustion engine have not decreased over the past twelve years. Although emissions from new cars fell on paper, little has changed on the streets, the European Court of Auditors (ECA) said in a report on Wednesday. In order to make the European vehicle fleet emission-free by 2035, the share of electric cars must be increased.
