Two cars left the road late last night in an accident on the A28 near Assen. Both cars ended up overturned in the ditch next to the highway.
Those involved escaped unscathed and none of the occupants of the cars involved had to be taken to hospital for treatment. It is not known exactly what went wrong on the road near Assen-Noord.
Part of the A28 heading north was closed after the accident.
