A serious accident happened this afternoon on the A1 near Muiden, in which two cars collided. All occupants were taken to hospital.
The report of the collision came to the emergency services around 1.15 p.m. A police spokesperson told NH that two cars were involved in the accident.
“There is probably an overtaking maneuver that went wrong. The car that overtook started spinning and came to a stop against the tunnel tube.” During the spin, the car probably crashed into another car.
Hardly any delay
The driver of the overtaking car was taken to hospital. The three occupants of the car that this driver collided with also had to be taken to the hospital.
