Carragher thunders: “Conte wants to be sacked by Tottenham”

The former defender’s conviction at the moment at Spurs.

“We disappeared from the game, it’s amazing what this team has done on the pitch in the last few months. the Tottenham it’s not a team, it’s 11 players who go on the field. I only see selfish players who don’t want to help each other or put their heart on the pitch.” These were the two words of Antonio Conte towards his squad after the 3-3 draw against Southampton.

And again: “Tottenham are used to this, they don’t play for something important, they’re a club that doesn’t want to be under pressure and stress. History tells us this, just see that this president has been here for 20 years and never won anything. Why?”

One outburst full blown which has also triggered, on social networks, the reaction of Jamie Carragher che thundered with posts Twitter: “Conte wants to be sacked at this break and Tottenham are expected to do so tonight. What he’s saying about Spurs not winning for a long time is right, but you mustn’t talk like that about your club, especially when you’re being paid a fortune of Arsenal’s growth this season, after finishing below Tottenham last season, destroys many of his arguments.”
