Oops, will Marianne Weber like that? Caroline van der Plas plans to go on holiday with John de Bever during her next recess. “Then we’ll drive to Spain.”

They have become good friends: Caroline van der Plas and John de Bever. The politician was recently scheduled to perform during his concert in Ahoy, but canceled on the day itself – after rehearsals. The reason? She did not think it was appropriate in connection with a shooting that had taken place in Rotterdam.

‘Very sorry’

John thought that was a bit strange at the time, as was seen in his soap opera on RTL 5. “I completely understand it, but I don’t understand why she had rehearsed first. I thought that was a bit strange. She had rehearsed with me first and then… But maybe that was said by someone. I can’t oblige Caroline.”

She promised him to perform as Santa Claus at next year’s concert, but John was still very disappointed. “Yes, what can I say? If that’s what Caroline wants, then she should do it. I am at peace with that.”

On holiday

Apparently this did not lead to any cracks in their friendship. John is late Party know that he is going on holiday to Spain with Caroline. Is that true? She responds: “He can’t keep anything a secret, can he? By the way, it is a bit different. John has a house in Spain and he said: ‘Leave it all and come along to Spain.’”

She continues: “I then told him that I can only go during recess and will not fly (because of my fear of flying, ed.). John, who says he does not like flying, then said that he would fly his husband and manager Kees to Spain and we would go to Spain together by car in three or four days.”

No appointment yet

A nice idea, Caroline thinks. “John also let my son Kayl come along. No appointment has been made, let alone a date. It is an idea that was thrown into the air by John and if it ever comes to fruition, I would really like it, because I think John is a real treasure. And Kees too.”

“They are very nice people, very open, very warm, very cordial, very hospitable.”
