Caroline Tensen has screeched across India when she received a paint bomb in her hair during the Hindu Holi festival. “Leco has called the entire region for a good hairdresser.”
More than one in four hungry people in the world live in India, but Caroline Tensen also has her problems. While on holiday in the Indian subcontinent, she has ended up in a traditional Holi celebration where everyone sprinkles and sprinkles color powder on each other.
Powder psychosis
Very nice, but apparently no one had explained to that Indian crowd that there was a kind of demigoddes from the Netherlands walking in their midst with a Unesco-protected Leco hairstyle. She and her permanent make-up brush, Leco van Zadelhoff, have been in a kind of powder psychosis for years, with that hairstyle as the sacred centerpiece.
At one point, Caroline really started to think that her hairstyle is some kind of work of art and that leads to bizarre situations, for example in 2016, during a holiday with her lover in India.
Paint bomb
Things went really wrong with Caroline then. “During the celebration of a Hindu spring festival, Caroline received a bright pink paint bomb in her famous Leco haircut,” can be read in the Nouveau. “Instead of shaking her head, she spent hours crying in the shower in her super-deluxe hotel.”
And then? “Because her hair remained pink in color, she called Van Zadelhoff, who tried to calm her down: ‘Lady Gaga also has pink hair, so it’s very hip.’ But putting things into perspective (…) was exactly what she was no longer able to do. So Van Zadelhoff called the entire region to find the best hairdresser in India.”
Blonde figurehead
Leco finally managed to find a hairdresser who was allowed to touch Caroline’s mythical hair. “Over the phone, Leco instructed exactly how to color the hair of his blonde figurehead.”
Millions of people in India who live below the poverty line, children who have no access to basic needs such as education and health care and Caroline moaning in her luxury hotel because there is some pink powder in her hair?
What the hell is Caroline’s excuse for behaving so ridiculously? “Transition.”
