A pleasant carnival evening ended in a nightmare for a man in Boxmeer. He was ambushed at night on March 1. The first perpetrator was soon caught, but the second went missing. After showing images in Bureau Brabant, eight anonymous tips came in, all of whom called the same man.
He was arrested by the Den Bosch detective and is now incarcerated.
The victim was approached as he walked down the street. The robbers demanded his phone and in the meantime also gave him a few punches. Actually, they also wanted to take his wallet with them, but they eventually gave it back.
Shortly after this robbery, one of the perpetrators was arrested after he tried again to rob someone.
