The businesswoman has been honest as never before in an intimate interview in which she talked about her husband and his health problems

Cuatro premiered this Monday ‘It hurts because it matters’, a new program run by Joaquin Prat in which voice is given to experiences in which pain is explored, both internal and external.

The first guest was Carmen Lomana. The businesswoman was as sincere as ever about the loss of her husband. “There have been many bitter moments, but that has been the worst”, she confessed, remembering the hard blow of saying goodbye to the man of her life.

“I know what is the physical pain and the pain of the soulwhich also leaves you with a scar due to the absence of fundamental people in your life,” he confessed. “In my case it was my husband, whom I adored, in a car accident.”

In the interview there was also time to talk about the physical painat a time when he revealed the disease he suffers from and with which he has to live on a daily basis due to herpes zoster that is caused by the chickenpox virus.

“I had it at one point, I think due to terrible anxiety when Guillermo had the accident. Perhaps I had a drop in defenses,” he said. “Shingles are actually there in the nerve roots if you’ve had chicken pox. And at some point it comes out, but you don’t know what it is until you look at yourself and you have a rash and an exhaustion that I couldn’t explain.”

“Suddenly one day you say ‘I am completely exhausted, I have no energy or strength’. And then it starts to itch and hurt as if you had a dog biting you that won’t let go. Me he took all the nerve roots of my spine, my back“, he recounted.

“The day I have the outbreak I go to work and do everything normal, but I avoid going out at night. I have to lie down because I am terribly exhausted,” said Carmen Lomana.
