Carmelo Anthony makes four-part documentary about life and career

Basketball player Carmelo Anthony is going to make a four-part documentary about his career, entertainment website Deadline reports. The series is called Seven, after the well-known number that the 38-year-old has been wearing on his shirt since 2011.

Seven is about the life and career of the ten-time NBA All Star player, both on and off the field. Matters are discussed that were previously unknown. In addition, the series offers a glimpse into Anthony’s life and shows what it means to be an athlete, a celebrity and above all a human being.

The Los Angeles Lakers basketball player has chosen to tell his story right now because it’s time for his own truth. “I look forward to people finally having the opportunity to hear about my adventure in my own words,” Anthony said in a statement.

The small forward made his NBA debut in 2003 on behalf of the Denver Nuggets. He played there until 2011 before moving to the New York Knicks, where he remained until 2017. After outings with Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers, Anthony joined the Lakers in 2021. He also won gold with the United States basketball team at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics.
