News: How did your parents start the family business?
Charles Schuster: Being the doormen of a temple in Vicente López called Lamroth Hakol, one day they were asked if they dared to make a dinner for 60 people. They did it and they liked it so much that they began to ask them among the well-known services. Thus, thanks to word of mouth they were putting together the catering.

News: Why did you decide to follow that path that your parents started?
Schuster: Because since I was little I saw how they worked and when I was 10 years old I liked helping so much that I put on the clothes of a waiter and went out to lend a hand.

News: What do you enjoy most about your job at the head of the company?
Schuster: What I enjoy the most is creating new dishes for events and seeing how we have grown as a company, not only with catering, but also with the Gourmet market, where you can have breakfast, lunch, snacks and buy a variety of products. On the other hand, I also enjoy knowing that all the effort my parents made was not in vain since, in addition to my sister, my wife, and I, now the third generation follows with my daughters and my nephew.

News: How did they go through the pandemic being an item that depended a lot on social events?
Schuster: Regarding the catering, very bad since several services were canceled at the last minute. However, we were privileged since, being essential, we could have the premises open to the public for delivery or take-out.

News: Have you been able to get back to normal?
Schuster: Yes, people started holding events again. Our people continue with hygiene and beard protocols.

News: What can you tell me about the new space “Míos”?
Schuster: I am very excited since it is something different from what is in the market. It is a multispace.

News: What types of events are held there?
Schuster: Of everything. Birthdays, civil events, work meetings or simply friends who want to spend a different night with a chef who cooks for them in sight. It can also be used to take cooking courses, wine tasting, cocktail tasting, among other events. The most beautiful thing about “Míos” is the transformation of a century-old mansion into something modern where we respect the old. I was the architect and in that space I tried to capture some of my life experiences.

Schuster: That we give confidence to our clients, our personalized attention, and the love that we put into our work that we try to transmit to our client.

Schuster: The PGA 2000 World Golf Championship, dinners for several presidents and celebrities, events held in different parts of Argentina and also social events for clients who were my parents’ and now their children and in some cases grandchildren are getting married.
