“The main concern of the province is in the economic field, and that is why we are working in coordination with the national government. And obviously all of Argentina, and especially some sectors of the suburbs, have security problems, that is still a concern, but our minister sergio berniwhich has been working very well in that sense”, pondered Charles Whitechief of advisers to the Government of the province of Buenos Aires, and right-hand man of Axel Kicillo.
“There was never any talk of a replacement. (for Bernie). Axel is satisfied with how Sergio carries things forward, with the policies that he implemented. He is a historical leader of Peronism, and Kirchnerism, who has personal positions, but it is not up to me to evaluate him,” added the former Chief of Staff of the Buenos Aires governor.
“Axel Kicillof’s management is very good in a very complex context, because as soon as the government began the pandemic, and we had to change the urgency in the priorities that we had established and a large part of the mandate has had to do with defensive measures trying to sustain economic activity, production, employment, income of the population. Now we have more offensive policies promoting production, improving income”, listed Bianco, one of those who has already expressed Axel’s will to run for re-election in Buenos Aires.
“It is the most natural thing that a governor who has a successful management can reelect, but that will still be decided by our political force in the corresponding discussions. We work on the implementation of a medium-term program and leave a marked path for the government to continue. Now it is premature to think about re-elections because there are still many structural problems to solve,” added Bianco in El Disparador (Delta 90.3).
“We are in the framework of a major inflationary process that impacts the province of Buenos Aires, which is why we are working on policies to complement national measures such as strengthening markets, price control that is carried out by the Ministry of Production together with the municipal offices with the aim of that a part of the population can have access to a type of market that can make wages yield better,” he continued.
Axel’s entourage is concerned that the protests that are repeated today in CABA may cross General Paz. And he insists that his team go ahead with measures. “We are in daily work with our ministries and permanent contact with the mayors, but the province does not have social situations like those of CABAif there is concern about price increases and that is why we are working on it”, recognized the Chief Advisor.
