Only 19 years old Spanish Carlos Alcaraz has risen to the consciousness of the tennis world.
Alcaraz has already won three ATP tournaments this year and has been ranked nineth in the rankings.
Now there is more to come. Alcaraz knocked out his compatriot in the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Madrid Rafael Nadalin.
After Nadal, it was the turn of another legend. Number one in the ATP ranking Novak Djokovic crashed Saturday night in a wild, nearly four-hour thriller.

Alcaraz’s winning numbers were 2-1 (6-7, 7-5, 7-6). The young Spaniard hadn’t knocked out Djokovic or Nadal before this tournament, so the top performers in the ATP tournament in Madrid could be the teenage’s ultimate breakthrough to the top.
In the final, Alcaraz will face either Greece Stefanos Tsitsipasin or German Alexander Zverevin.
Alcaraz’s ATP tournament wins have come from Rio de Janeiro in February and Miami and Barcelona in April. Now he has a chance to win his fourth tournament in 2022.
