The reality series De Bevers has a chance to win a Gouden Televizier-Ring, a public prize that makes television stars very hysterical. The chance that the program will take home the prize is considerable, as John de Bever and his friend are extremely busy campaigning. Tonight the prize gala will take place, live on NPO 1.

bit sour

Carlo Boszhard, who would have liked to have been nominated for his TV show Make Up Your Mind, thinks De Bevers’ nomination is unjustified. “When I hear that there are even banners along the road to vote for De Bevers, it goes a bit too far for me. More voters than viewers, although that may sound a bit negative.”

Private boss Evert Sankrediets thinks it’s a bit bland of Carlo. He calls his statements ‘a bit sour’. “Carlo is clearly sorry that his TV child Make Up Your Mind, his cross-dressing show, did not make it to the final, while a program with significantly less success in the ratings does have a chance of winning gold,” he says in a statement. The Telegraph.

grumble

Evert thinks Carlo is ‘grumbling’, he writes in an article in which he lets John speak. John is given ample space by Evert to hit back at Carlo.

For example, John says: “Carlo gives the impression of being a bad loser. But he also spews nonsense. Coincidentally, I was recently at a party of RTL where I had to sing. The two RTL directors Peter van der Vorst and Sven Sauvé were also there. I asked them exactly how many viewers we have, even with the postponed viewing via Videoland.”

joke chunks

De Bevers knows how to captivate about 800,000 viewers spread over several platforms, John understands from Peter. “He said he was very happy with us. This is also apparent from the fact that they wanted to move on very quickly.”

“So Carlo’s negative talk is not based on anything. If something is right, you can say it, but he shouldn’t be joking.”
