Wednesday evening is the arbitration case between football player Carel Eiting and FC Volendam. At 8 p.m., the arbitration committee will again consider a dispute between Eiting and the football club. The midfielder still wants to force a transfer to FC Twente. Some haste is called for, because the transfer market closes on Friday.
The 25-year-old Eiting stood two weeks ago before the arbitration committee, who then ruled that FC Volendam did not have to cooperate in a transfer to FC Twente. In the verdict of the case, the arbitration committee also indicated that all parties involved still had to try to reach an agreement within the bandwidth indicated by the arbitration committee.
No future
However, FC Twente and Eiting did not come to an agreement with FC Volendam. According to his lawyer Frans de Weger, the footballer has no other option than to urgently submit the matter again to the arbitration committee of the KNVB, since after everything that has already happened, he no longer sees a realistic possibility to come to an agreement with FC Volendam.

Money
Eiting has long disagreed with the Volendam club management about the financial conditions for a transfer. The Eredivisie club lifted an option in the contract of the former Ajax player last month, which means that FC Volendam believes that he is fixed until the summer of 2025. That happened shortly after FC Twente had reported for Eiting.
The midfielder relied on written agreements about a departure clause, which would allow him to leave for around 400,000 euros. However, FC Volendam wants to see more money, reportedly 2 to 2.5 million euros.
